Remodeling Job Stories | Pelham, AL Whole House Remodel
I. Project Overview
Nick and Amy Tucker’s Pelham, AL Whole House Remodel / Exterior Renovations project is probably our most visually striking job we’ve ever completed. We’ve worked with the Tuckers before, but this one is our favorite with them by far!
There were three primary components of this project: a complete roof replacement, which came first, an absolutely stunning exterior painting job, and then a complete window replacement for the entire home! We also replaced all the gutters for good measure!
II. Project Timeline
The Tucker project ran for two months, from July to August of 2023. Constant communication and oversight through our project software, Buildertrend, allows all of our clients to be completely aware of all aspects of design and construction from start to finish!

III. Design-Build-Remodel
We began this project by replacing the entire roof! This was the primary requirement of the project, as a damaged roof can be an extreme harm to the rest of the property in ways that aren’t so obvious!
Oxford grey tiles from Tamko were the selection from the owners!
The next thing on the docket was replacing all of the windows in this house with brand new Wincore® windows! This was the portion of the project that turned this from a simple exterior renovations roof replacement into a fully fledged Whole House Remodel, as we now had to remodel the interior and exterior of the home!
Wincore® windows and doors are a manufacturer of some of the highest quality products we’ve used in a ton of our remodeling projects, and we consistently find ourselves buying Wincore®!
After window installation was completed, we began the truly transformative exterior painting! We can’t describe how already amazed we were with how this paint looked on the exterior of this house, and you can see the night and day difference!
The paint color used is 6804 Dignity Blue, in satin finish, from Sherwin-Williams®. It’s actually listed as a purple paint, “…deep saturated violet and its cerulean undertones.” This is probably why the color just pops so much!
When the exterior painting started to wind down, we began installation of new gutters, with new gutter guards to boot!
Shur Flo gutter guards for the 6” gutters will handle water nicely in comparison to what the Tuckers had previously!
IV. Conclusion of the Tucker Project
The Tucker project is an amazing example of how sometimes choice material selections, in this case paint, can completely alter a home into something completely, unrecognizably, spectacular! Mr. Tucker was also kind enough to leave us a five-star review!
