I. Project Overview
Ms. Cyndy Barton’s project was not as large as some of our other projects, but it’s nevertheless an interesting look into how our smaller exterior remodeling projects as porch builders in Hoover, AL typically go.
For this Exterior Renovations project, we installed brand new aluminum railings and columns, for a guaranteed lifetime of maintenance free service, and a new back door!
II. Project Timeline
The Barton project ran from late June to early August of 2023. Constant communication and oversight through our project software, Buildertrend, allows all of our clients to be completely aware of all aspects of design and construction from start to finish!

III. Design-Build-Remodel
Reliable began the project by replacing Ms. Barton’s aging back door unit with a brand new one!
Not the most luxurious or expensive thing we’ve ever installed, but sometimes simplicity creates luxury!
The bulk of Cyndy’s rather small project in the Linwood subdivision of Hoover, AL was an update to her front porch!
We began to install the AFCO white texture empire columns with capitals and bases and pro 100 series railings with 4” posts.
Installation was quick and simple, and looks absolutely stunning!
IV. Conclusion of the Barton Project
The Barton project is a great example of how it doesn’t matter how big your project is, or how expensive the materials are, or even if it isn’t the most technically challenging project. What matters in a remodel is changing someone’s home for the better!
