I. Project Overview
This Helena, AL Master Bathroom Remodel project for Mrs. MaryLou Patterson began in February of 2023.
This project is one of our most startling transformations, taking a completely out of date bathroom and turning into something modern, functional, and beautiful!
II. Project Timeline
Mrs. Patterson’s project ran from February to June of 2023, which is the typical timeframe for a project of this nature. Constant communication and oversight through our project software, Buildertrend, allows all of our clients to be completely aware of all aspects of design and construction from start to finish!

III. Design-Build-Remodel
In the Amberley Woods neighborhood of Helena, AL, this master bathroom remodel project started when we laid down the floor protection necessary to begin demolition of Ms. MaryLou’s bathroom. This project featured a tub to shower conversion, which is a trend that is becoming more and more popular! The most important part of this process is getting the drain moved to the center.
Reliable starts every project by installing floor protection for the homes we’ll be working in. Our favorite floor protection is Trimaco X-Board, which has leak resistant protection to prevent any kind of damage from hurting our client’s homes!
The next stage involved inspections, which after we passed, we moved on to tile prep. Inspections always Tile prep is important before beginning the flood tests for any kind of new shower build. After we flood tested, timing could begin the following Monday!
After we installed this amazing shower window, this project proceeded as planned with no interruption, and we were officially ready to start the final stages!
Installation of the new tile shower was completed promptly, and resulted in an absolutely magnificent walk-in shower with a frameless glass enclosure! We also completed the painting and bath accessories portion, which included new paint for both the master and hall bathrooms, new cabinetry, new countertops, and shower accessories like grab bars!
We also completed the installation of all the countertops for the bathrooms! We also remodeled her small hall bathroom as you can see in the fourth picture, and that bathroom had an amazing dodecagonal vanity!
IV. Conclusion of the Patterson Project
Mrs. Patterson’s project demonstrates our commitment to our bread and butter services, in this case bathroom remodeling, and how that we spare no effort in creating homeowner’s dream remodel!
